I. POSITION SUMMARY:

Clinical Training Specialist is responsible for providing training and education to current and future Ekso Bionics customers while facilitating use of our product in healthcare settings. This includes initial and ongoing training visits as needed at customer sites. Ensure competent and safe operation of Ekso devices by all physical therapists at customer sites. The activities needed to support these objectives include, while not limited to: improving the quality, efficiency, and productivity of the physical therapy/clinical team, facilitating patient use of our products directly and through others, complying with Ekso Bionics quality management system, making presentations to current and future customers, supporting the design and development of future products, and the development and support of clinical training with Ekso Bionics customers. Reports to the VP of Clinical Operations.

II. PRINCIPLE DUTIES:

  • Operational management of geographical region
    • Oversee execution of training scheduling for new and existing customers.
    • Follow-up with existing customers to support Customer Success Program
    • Collaborate with partnered, Regional Sales Manager
  • Onsite Training, Sales Demonstrations and Conferences
    • Travel to current and future customer locations to provide new or ongoing demonstrations and training for all Ekso Bionics mobility related devices across the United States. Represent Ekso Bionics at conferences
    • Travel days expected to be approximately 60% of work days in a month. Manage own travel schedule and logistics. Must be comfortable with frequent air travel and navigating through cities of customer sites. Must be willing to get a passport.
    • Comply with Ekso Bionics Clinical Competency and Training Outline to complete education and training
  • Communicate timely and effectively with all members of Clinical Team and Engineering Teams
    • Report status of training weeks
    • Collect feedback from customers and circulate to Clinical and Engineering Teams
    • Notify Director of Clinical Operations with concerns for site competency
    • Notify Engineering Team and Director of Clinical Operations with concerns for device function
  • Customer Success Program Management
    • Manage customer base in clinical territory for program implementation, program development and device implementation
    • Responsible for clinical customer support and subscription model renewal.
    • Maintain relationships with customer clinical team members and customer leadership to develop customer for life mentality

III. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Core Competencies, Skills and Experience Requirements 
    • Must be a licensed physical therapist with at least four (4) years of experience treating in an inpatient and/or outpatient rehabilitation setting, with at least a two (2) year focus in spinal cord injury (SCI) rehabilitation, stroke/CVA rehabilitation, or other neurological conditions that require gait training.
    • Must have thorough understanding of and demonstrated experience working with CVA and spinal cord injuries or other neurological conditions at all levels. Must understand clinical risks and complications associated with diagnosis, and have experience gait training patients with spinal cord injury or other neurological conditions.
    • Have exceptional physical evaluation skills.
    • Experience as a Clinical Instructor to physical therapy student(s) or other applicable healthcare instruction.
    • Additional experience in neurological rehabilitation and teaching rehabilitation professionals preferred.
    • Comfortable using tools to adjust devices (Similar to wheelchair adjustment skills).
    • Robotic experience preferred
    • Provides excellent verbal and written communication to various team members in a timely manner. Requires effective communication to convey, develop and implement ideas to various customers and teams.
    • Possesses a high sense of urgency, initiative and effective decision making skills. Must present a professional demeanor and demonstrate an ability to work with a diverse group of individuals.
    • Is energetic, works quickly and efficiently with detail and accuracy; able to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
    • Proficient with computer use including Microsoft office suite and databases used by the business.
  • Degrees & Licenses 
    • Graduate degree from accredited Physical Therapy program and be a licensed physical therapist.
    • Must be CPR and first aid certified.

I. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Regional Sales Manager, Enterprise is responsible for all capital sales activities in the sales region, including while not limited to account identification, sales visitation, promotional and clinical activities (clinical demonstration), deliveries, training, and follow up. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales goals. This position reports to the VP of Sales, North America.

II. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Meeting Sales Goals as set by Ekso Bionics each quarter
  • Responsible for client satisfaction and for creating positive customer experience – pre- and post-delivery.
  • Responsible for all communication to the institutional accounts in the sales region and for all activities that will be conducted at the Enterprise level.
  • Participating in sales plan preparation.
  • Plan, drive and implement various sales activities with potential customers including demonstrations, customer / clinical events, conferences and product demonstrations.
  • Participate in trade shows and other marketing as appropriate.
  • Responsible for customer information tracking in Salesforce, reporting progress and status regularly to internal management.
  • Collaborate and communicate with Care Coordinator to ensure seamless communication to customers.
  • Coordinate product issues with customer service and field service organization to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in regular sales and marketing, corporate and other meetings.
  • Promote seamless communication between care coordinator, clinical and customer service teams.
  • Use CRM tool effectively

IV. POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 3 -5 years of experience in rehabilitation sales or medical device capital sales.

  • Ability to engage customers, new and old, in expanding opportunities with existing products.

  • Must be computer literate and must be proficient with all standard office equipment.

  • Must work independently and be able to prioritize numerous duties. Ability to tolerate ambiguity across situations.
  • Prior managerial experience preferred.

V. EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Healthcare related field.
  • Licensed in Physical or Occupational Therapy preferred

  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
  • Must be comfortable with working remotely and frequent travel, navigating through cities of customer sites and events.

I. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Assembly Technician position is a full-time/day shift role on the Medical Assembly team. The successful candidate will be able to follow written and verbal instruction from trainer/lead/manager. After training, the technician should be able to execute repetitive tasks under limited supervision. The Senior Assembly Technician must be detail oriented and self-motivated. This position reports to the Vice President of Operations. and is responsible for reporting any work-related issues (safety, quality, and procedural) for all work performed. Must be approved by the Clinical Department to operate the Ekso Bionics suite of products.

II. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Ability to read, comprehend and/or interpret technical instructions, and follow established procedures.
  • Prepare work to be accomplished by studying and verifying instructions, required resources, and supplies before assembly and subassemblies.
  • Perform the set-up and verification of equipment and process.
  • Select or modify components according to measurements and specifications.
  • Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fasten parts and subassemblies.
  • Use hand and power tools to assemble and repair products and components.
  • Inspect components and assemblies for quality assurance.
  • Perform diagnostic tests on assembled products to ensure efficiency and make adjustments as needed.
  • Check that items are fully assembled and troubleshoot any issues found during production.
  • Check inventories for correct quantities of components.

III. NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform routine maintenance on assembly equipment.
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment including assigned equipment and tools.
  • Meet all safety requirements of the company and industry and ensure safety and quality. control protocols are being followed complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

IV. POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 4+ years in manufacturing electro-mechanical devices or similar work environment.
  • Experience in soldering, solder certification preferred.
  • Technicians need to be able to read and understand instructions, manuals, and work with computers, press, drill and other hand tools to complete their job.
  • Some assembly jobs will require strength to lift heavy objects during the assembly process.
  • Capability to be able to identify different color wires, connectors and electronic components in order to put them together correctly.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrams, or schedule forms.
  • Intermediate computer knowledge including Word and Excel.

V. OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must demonstrate a high sense of urgency, initiative, and common sense.
  • Must present a professional demeanor and demonstrate an ability to work with a diverse group of individuals.
  • Collaborating with team members to meet production deadlines.
  • Ability to work well in a customer environment with various levels of patient contact.
  • Work quickly and efficiently with a high attention to detail and accuracy; able to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

VII. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Assemblers are on their feet and sitting for long periods of time often doing repetitious motions.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds at times on a regular basis.
