I. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Regional Sales Manager, Enterprise drives capital sales and adoption of Ekso Bionics technologies within the assigned territory. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: cold calling, account development, clinical demonstrations, training coordination, and relationships management across rehabilitation partners/networks. The role combines strategic business development with hands-on clinical and customer engagement to achieve quarterly sales goals and ensure customer success.
II. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Meeting Sales Goals as set by Ekso Bionics each quarter and on an annual basis
- Responsible for client satisfaction and for creating positive customer experience – pre- and post-delivery.
- Responsible for all communication to the institutional accounts in the sales region and for all activities that will be conducted at the Enterprise level.
- Participating in sales plan preparation.
- Plan, drive and implement various sales activities with potential customers including demonstrations, customer / clinical events, conferences and product demonstrations.
- Participate in trade shows and other marketing as appropriate.
- Manage customer data, opportunities, pipeline, and forecast in Salesforce and to internal management with high accuracy
- Collaborate and communicate with Clinical Sales Application Specialist to ensure excellent communication to and experience with customers.
- Coordinate product issues with customer service and field service organization to ensure customer satisfaction and ongoing product utilization
- Participate in regular sales and marketing, corporate and other meetings, as required
- Promote seamless communication between internal teams including but not limited to: Sales Support, Care Coordination, Clinical, and Customer Service teams
- Use CRM tool effectively to track activities, to report and track pipeline and opportunity progress, and provide market insights
- Other sales and customer related activities as assigned.
III. POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3 -5 years of proven success and experience in rehabilitation sales or medical device capital sales.
- Self-driven and innovative problem solver of complex challenges.
- Self-motivated, self-starter able to execute crisply with minimal direction.
- Ability to identify new opportunities for selling products and services.
- Ability to engage customers, new and old, in expanding opportunities with existing products.
- High level of influencing, relationship building, negotiating and closing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple customers; is extremely organized, with proven data tracking capabilities.
- Ability to work in complex customer (business to business) buying centers / selling situations (multiple people influencing the buying decision).
- Superb verbal, written, and graphical communication abilities.
- Exceptional customer relations / service skills.
- Must possess a high sense of urgency, initiative and common sense. Must present a professional demeanor and demonstrate an ability to work with a diverse group of individuals.
- Must be energetic, work quickly and efficiently with detail and accuracy; able to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Must be computer literate and must be proficient with all standard office equipment.
- Proficient with CRM systems, Salesforce preferred, and standard business software
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Requires effective communication, persuasion and technical skills to develop, present and implement ideas to corporate management and customers.
- Must work independently and be able to prioritize numerous duties. Ability to tolerate ambiguity across situations.
- Prior managerial experience preferred.
IV. EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or healthcare related field.
- Licensed in Physical or Occupational Therapy preferred
V. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs.
- Must be comfortable with working remotely and frequent travel, navigating through cities of customer sites and events.
- Comfortable with at least 50% travel

I. POSITION SUMMARY:
This is a technical, operations-focused customer service role supporting FDA-regulated robotic exoskeleton systems used in clinical rehabilitation and personal mobility.
This is not a sales role.
The Customer Service Specialist serves as the central hub between customers, Field Service, Engineering, Clinical, Quality, Shipping/Receiving, and Finance. This individual owns customer cases from intake through resolution and ensures accurate documentation within Salesforce (SFDC) and ERP systems (Infor or equivalent).
The ideal candidate is technically inclined – preferably a former Field Service Engineer or technical support professional – who wants to transition into an office-based role while remaining deeply engaged in technical problem-solving.
II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as primary point of contact for customer support calls and emails
- Intake, triage, and document all cases in Salesforce (SFDC)
- Coordinate service logistics including RMA creation, shipment tracking, loaner management, and repair flow
- Communicate technical information clearly to clinicians and end users
- Interface cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Clinical, Sales, and Service Technicians
- Document complaints in accordance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements
- Support billing, warranty validation, and service contract review within ERP (Infor or equivalent)
- Track case milestones from receipt through repair completion and return shipment
- Escalate technical issues appropriately and follow through to closure
III. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years in a technical customer service, field service, or product support role
- Experience in medical device, capital equipment, or regulated environment strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience using Salesforce (or equivalent CRM) to manage cases
- Experience using ERP systems (Infor, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
- Proven ability to manage high call/email volume while maintaining documentation accuracy
- Strong cross-functional communication skills
IV. PREFERRED BACKGROUND:
- Former Field Service Engineer transitioning to office-based role
- Experience supporting clinicians, rehab facilities, or medical end users
- Familiarity with RMAs, service orders, warranty validation, and complaint handling
- Exposure to PLM systems (Teamcenter or similar)
- IATA Dangerous Goods certification a plus

VI. COMPENSATION & LOCATION
- $75,000 – $90,000 annually depending on experience
- Onsite role in San Rafael, CA (5 days per week)
- Standard 40-hour work week with occasional extended hours as needed
