Wandercraft & Ekso Bionics FAQ

The acquisition unites two pioneers in robotic exoskeletons, each committed to advancing human mobility. The combined company offers a broader portfolio of medical exoskeletons for rehabilitation and personal mobility. Customers can now benefit from coordinated sales and clinical consultations across the portfolio. Our specialists can help rehabilitation centers and individuals evaluate technologies and identify the solutions that best meet their needs.

There are no plans to discontinue any existing products. Wandercraft and Ekso intend to continue supporting all products, as well as the customers, clinicians, and individuals who depend on them.

Existing service agreements, warranties, and support arrangements remain in effect under their current terms. Customers can continue working with their usual Wandercraft or Ekso contacts and receive the same level of service and technical support. We will communicate directly with customers about any future changes.

The acquisition does not change existing Medicare coverage or reimbursement policies. Medicare has established a reimbursement framework for qualifying powered lower-extremity exoskeletons under Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) code K1007. However, coverage is not automatic and depends on the specific device, individual eligibility, medical necessity, clinical documentation, and applicable payer requirements. For rehabilitation centers, reimbursement arrangements depend on the clinical services provided and on applicable payer policies.

If you are an existing Wandercraft or Ekso customer, please continue contacting your usual representative or customer support team. Your support arrangements remain in place, and we will notify you directly of any changes to your contact information or service procedures.
